Watch Sen Morimoto Cover Mitski’s ‘Washing Machine Heart’

Sen Morimoto has performed a cover of Mitski’s ‘Washing Machine Heart’. The Kyoto-born, Chicago-based multi-instrumentalist offered his take on the Be the Cowboy track during a virtual session for KEXP. Watch the full performance and interview below; the Mitski cover, which also interpolates Daft Punk’s 2001 track ‘Something About Us’, begins at 15:30.

Sen Morimoto issued his self-titled sophomore album last fall. It marked the follow up to his 2018 solo debut Cannonball! Back in August, he collaborated with Divino Niño and Will Miller of Whitney on a track called ‘Made Up My Mind’.
