Lil Wayne Releases New Song ‘Ain’t Got Time’ Following Trump Pardon

Less than two days after receiving a full Presidential pardon by Donald Trump, Lil Wayne has released a new song called ‘Ain’t Got Time’. Listen to the Fousheé-featuring song below.

Prior to being pardoned by Trump, Wayne had been facing up to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of illegal possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon in December 2020. Though not addressing Trump or the pardon directly, the song’s lyrics seem to reference a related December 2019 incident at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport, in which a private plane transporting Wayne from California to Florida was searched by federal agents. “The feds, they hot on us,” Lil Wayne raps, adding, “They raided my private plane, I went got one that’s more privater.”

In addition to Wayne’s pardon, rapper Kodak Black and Death Row Records co-founder Michael “Harry-O” Harris also received commutations from the former President earlier this week.
