Madlib and Four Tet have released a new song called ‘Dirtknock’. It’s taken from their upcoming collaborative album Sound Ancestors. Check it out below.
Announced last month, Sound Ancestors is set to arrive January 29 via Madlib Invazion. It includes the previously released singles ‘Road of the Lonely Ones’ and ‘Hopprock’. In a statement, Four Tet’s Kieran Hebden said the album was made by arranging “hundreds of pieces of music over a couple of years stretch and during that time I put together this album with all the parts that fitted with my vision.”
