Desire Unveil New Song ‘Zeros’

Desire, the project of Chromatics mastermind Johnny Jewel and singer Megan Louise, have returned with a new song titled ‘Zeros’. Check it out below.

“As the calendar pages fly by, we are all reaching for a new normal on what sometimes feels like an endless loop,” the band said in a statement. “The cyclical music echoes flashback sequences of a recurring dream, chanting “Falling like a feather…Never touch the floor”. We sampled the incessant strike of a grandfather clock, stopwatches, & digital alarm clocks to keep the time. From sunrise to sunset, every single is day adding up…”

‘Zeros’ follows last October’s ‘Boy’, a song that appeared on Italians Do It Better’s After Dark 3 compilation. Last year, Desire started releasing songs from a new LP called Escape, though it is unclear whether that project has been scrapped.
