Dry Cleaning Announce New Album ‘New Long Leg’, Share New Song ‘Strong Feelings’

London four-piece Dry Cleaning have announced their debut album, New Long Leg. It’s set for release on April 2 via 4AD. Below, watch the video for new single ‘Strong Feelings’, and check out the album’s cover artwork and tracklist.

In a statement, vocalist Florence Shaw said ‘Strong Feelings is “about secretly being in love with someone who doesn’t know it, and Brexit’s disruptive role in romantic relationships.”

Dry Cleaning recorded the 10-song LP during the pandemic, with each member demoing their individual parts on a four-track Tascam recorder and passing them to each other through the window of a car. They went on to complete the record with PJ Harvey producer John Parish at Rockfield Studios in rural Wales during the summer of 2020.

New Long Leg follows the band’s 2019 EPs Sweet Princess and Boundary Road Snacks and Drinks.
