Gordi and Alex Lahey Join Forces on New Single ‘Dino’s’

Gordi and Alex Lahey have teamed up for a new single titled ‘Dino’s’. The collaborative track takes its name from a dive bar in East Nashville that both artists have visited. Check it out below, alongside a Nick Mckk-directed video.

“This song has been two and a half years in the making,” Gordi and Lahey wrote in a statement. “We wrote it on a very humid summer’s day in Nashville before breaking for late night pasta and beer. The eccentricity of Dino’s makes it a place where it feels like anything could happen and anyone could walk through the door. The song captures the feeling of being totally captivated by the person sitting across from you while the world spins madly on. Anyone who has been to Dino’s knows that there is genuinely a Dolly Parton cardboard cutout that lives in the bar and she is a Nashville icon.”

‘Dino’s’ marks Gordi’s first release since last year’s Our Two Skins, which landed on our 50 Best Albums of 2020 list. Alex Lahey followed up her 2019 album The Best Of Luck Club with 2020’s Between The Kitchen And The Living Room EP.
