Iceage Announce New Album ‘Seek Shelter’, Release New Song ‘Vendetta’

Iceage have announced their fifth studio album and first for new label Mexican Summer. It’s titled Seek Shelter and it arrives on May 7. In addition to the previously released single ‘The Holding Hand’, it includes the new track ‘Vendetta’, which comes with an accompanying video directed by Jonas Bang and starring Croatian–Danish actor Zlatko Burić.. Check it out below, and scroll down for the album’s cover artwork and tracklist.

“Crime is the undercurrent that runs through everything,” frontman Elias Bender Rønnenfelt explained in a statement. “If you don’t see it, you’re not looking. In its invincible politics, it is the glue that binds it all together. ‘Vendetta’ is an impartial dance along the illicit lines of infraction.”

Seek Shelter, the follow-up to 2018’s Beyondless, was recorded with Spacemen 3’s Sonic Boom and mixed by Shawn Everett. It marks the first time the Danish band have worked with an outside producer. The lineup has also been expanded to include guitarist Casper Morilla Fernandez, while two tracks feature Portuguese group the Lisboa Gospel Collective.
