serpentwithfeet has shared a new song called ‘Same Size Shoe’. It’s the latest preview from his forthcoming new album DEACON. Check it out below.

“Me and me boo wear the same size shoe,” Josiah Wise sings in the chorus of the track, which serves as an exploration of the artist’s dating life. “I prefer to date and love on Black men,” Wise said in a statement. “I don’t want to be with anyone who can’t go to my barber or walk a mile in my shoes.”

DEACON, which follows serpentwithfeet’s 2018 debut LP soil, arrives March 26 via Secretly Canadian. It includes the previously released single ‘Fellowship’.
