Matt Berninger Unveils New Song ‘Let It Be’

The National’s Matt Berninger has shared a new song titled ‘Let It Be’. The track is taken from the deluxe edition of his debut solo LP Serpentine Prison. “This is a new song about an old frenemy. Not Paul McCartney or Westerberg,” Berninger said in a statement. Check it out below.

Serpentine Prison arrived in October of last year. The expanded edition, which is out digitally March 12, will also include another previously unreleased song as well as four covers. Berninger recently featured on Julia Stone’s ‘We All Have’, from her upcoming album Sixty Summers.
