Green Day have shared a new song called ‘Here Comes the Shock’. Following its debut at NHL Outdoors at Lake Tahoe on Saturday, the track arrives with an accompanying music video of “punk rock aerobics” created by Hilken Mancini and Punk Rock Aerobics. Check it out below.
‘Here Comes The Shock’ marks the band’s first new music since their 2020 album Father Of All Motherfuckers. Back in November, frontman Billie Joe Armstrong released the solo covers LP No Fun Mondays. The (definitely not) Green Day side project The Network also returned a new EP that month, followed by the Money Money 2020 Part II: Told Ya So! LP earlier this year.
