Charli XCX, the 1975, and No Rome Join Forces on New Song ‘Spinning’

No Rome has recruited Charli XCX and the 1975 on a new track called ‘Spinning’. No Rome – full name Guendoline Rome Viray Gomez – produced the song alongside the 1975’s Matty Healy and George Daniel. Take a listen below.

The 1975 and No Rome are both signed to Dirty Hit and have collaborated several times in the past. The group joined No Rome on the 2018 track ‘Narcissist’, while No Rome featured in the visual for ‘TOOTIMETOOTIMETOOTIME’. George Daniel also co-produced No Rome’s ‘1:45 A.M’.

Last Sunday (February 28), Charli XCX announced she was “forming a supergroup” with the two Dirty Hit acts. In a tweet posted yesterday, she wrote: “i think rome and the 1975 guys are so talented, it’s honestly so cool to have this song with them, i feel like we all speak the same musical language in someway [sic], and that language is stunning/exquisite/tasteful and chic.”
