Citizen have released a new song called ‘Black and Red’. It’s the latest preview from the post-hardcore trio’s upcoming fourth full-length album Life in Your Glass World, which is set for release on Friday, March 26 via Run For Cover. Check it out below.
“The song is about someone who leeches off of your efforts and turns out to be a bad friend on top of that,” vocalist Mat Kerekes explained in a statement. “Nick wrote the guitar line late in the writing process, but we had to use it and ended up being the last song we wrote for the record.”
Life in Your Glass World will follow Citizen’s 2017 album As You Please. It includes the previously released singles ‘I Want to Kill You’ and ‘Blue Sunday’.
