Wavves have returned with their first new music in nearly three years. The first teaser of a forthcoming release, ‘Sinking Feeling’ was produced by TV On the Radio’s Dave Sitek and arrives with a video directed by Jesse Lirola. Check it out below.
“‘Sinking Feeling’ is a song about a wave of depression that keeps coming back,” frontman Nathan Williams explained in a statement. “It’s that sinking feeling that drags you down and no matter what you do or where you go it follows you.”
Released via Fat Possum Records, ‘Sinking Feeling’ follows Wavves’ 2017 LP You’re Welcome.
