St. Vincent has released a new song called ‘The Melting of the Sun’. Co-produced by Jack Antonoff, the track is the second single from her upcoming album Daddy’s Home and features backing vocals from Kenya Hathaway (Donny Hathaway’s daughter) and Lynne Fiddmont, as well as Doveman on organ. Daddy’s Home, the follow-up to 2017’s MASSEDUCATION, is set for release on May 14 via Loma Vista. St. Vincent detailed the album last month after teasing it with a 70s-style poster campaign, sharing the lead single ‘Pay Your Pain Away’ along with the announcement. St. Vincent will be the musical guest on this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live, which will be hosted by Daniel Kaluuya.
