Fog Lake Releases New Single ‘Catacombs’

Fog Lake, the project of Newfoundland-based lo-fi artist Aaron Powell, has released a new single called ‘Catacombs’. The Elliott Smith-inspired track is the latest offering from his upcoming album Tragedy Reel. Listen to it below.

“The song describes the baggage and fallout of unrequited love through the filter of addiction and self-destruction,” Powell said of the song in a statement. “I wrote it on my 27th birthday. It’s one of those songs that seemed to write itself.”

Tragedy Reel, the follow-up to 2018’s Captain, is due out on April 23 via Orchid Tapes. It includes the previously released single ‘Jitterbug’.
