Wolf Alice have released a new song called ‘Smile’, the latest single from their upcoming album Blue Weekend. It comes with an accompanying Jordan Hemingway-directed video, which sees the UK band performing the song in a pub. Check it out below.
“This is one of the songs we wrote thinking that we would play it live,” frontwoman Ellie Roswell said of ‘Smile’ in a statement. “I miss that feeling of singing on stage. It’s like screaming into a pillow or something—you can get away with being more nasty. There’s a whole other part of me missing.”
Blue Weekend, the follow-up to 2017’s Visions of a Life, is set to come out on June 11 via Dirty Hit/RCA. Previously, Wolf Alice shared the lead single ‘The Last Man on Earth’.
