The Chemical Brothers Drop New Song ‘The Darkness That You Fear’

The Chemical Brothers have returned with a new song titled ‘The Darkness That You Fear’. The track marks the English electronic duo’s first piece of new music since issuing their 2019 album No Geography and will be released as a 12″ single for Record Store Day in June. Check it out below, alongside an accompanying video by RUFFMERCY.

“‘The Darkness That You Fear’ is a hopeful piece of music,” the duo’s Tom Rowlands said of the song in a statement (via Pitchfork). “When we found the combination of the different voices worked set to the flow of the music, it made us feel optimistic—like it was something we wanted to share.”

The Chemical Brothers recently shared an hour-long dub mix, the first in a series of themed mixes released as part of their Radio Chemical station for Sonos Radio.
