Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy and Matt Sweeney have shared a new song called ‘Resist the Urge’. It’s taken from their upcoming album Superwolves and it arrives with an accompanying video directed by skateboarders Kevin “Spanky” Long and Atiba Jefferson. Check it out below.
“Spanky and Atiba’s video rules,” Will Oldham said in a statement. “We try to make the listener feel insanely at home in a musical space. Atiba and Spanky have made us feel like we own a share of the skateable world.”
Superwolves, the sequel to Oldham and Sweeney’s 2005 collaboration Superwolf, is out this Friday (April 30) via Drag City. It includes the previously released singles ‘Hall of Death’ and ‘My Blue Suit’.
