Squid have shared ‘Pamphlets’, the final single from their forthcoming debut album Bright Green Field. Check it out below.
“It’s about all the rubbish right-wing propaganda you get through your front door,” Ollie Judge said in a statement. “It imagines a person with that as their only source of news being taken over by these pamphlets.”
The new single follows the previously released tracks ‘Paddling’ and the Martha Skye Murphy-featuring ‘Narrator’ (both of which landed on our Best New Songs segment). Bright Green Field will be released on May 7 via Warp. Following the recent announcements of the band’s rescheduled UK and Europe tour dates, the art-rock outfit have today also announced their first-ever U.S. tour, set to take place November 2021.
