heka Releases New Single ‘(a) dab’

heka, the project of experimental folk musician and multidisciplinary artist Francesca Brierley, has released a new single titled ‘(a) dab’. The track appears on her forthcoming EP (a)which is out May 19 via Balloon Machine Records. Check it out below.

“Sometimes being in love can feel like being on drugs. There is a similar kind of influence that we willingly, and then inevitably, accept to be under; where we choose to give ourselves up,” heka said of the new track, which follows the previously released single ‘(a) wall’. “I guess there is a desire, in a sense, to be weak and vulnerable, and sometimes the wrong person can take advantage of that. This is what this song means to me.”
