Just today, Meg Blumberg presented her latest ear-pleasing three-track EP Extant. The EP, which includes ‘Wading,’ ‘Extant,’ and ‘Extant ii,’ marks the first release of the year for Blumberg, who has a well-received discography including pieces such as ‘Marks,’ and ‘Flightless.’
Talking about the EP, Blumberg said: “I can’t tell you how long I’ve been wanting to share this collection of pieces. I wrote these during a difficult phase of my life when I was struggling with health issues that at times left me unable to even sit at the piano to play. The piano had always been my lifeline and my form of self-expression, so during the moments I could play, I poured everything into these pieces. They are a tribute to who I used to be, who I’ve become, and who I’m determined to be in the future.”
‘Extant’ can now be streamed via Spotify and all other major platforms.
