Pillow Queens Cover the Cranberries’ ‘When You’re Gone’

Dublin band Pillow Queens have shared a cover of the Cranberries’ ‘When You’re Gone’, from the 1996 album To the Faithful Departed. Their rendition appears on Salvation – Inspired by the Cranberries for Pieta, a forthcoming collection of Cranberries covers from contemporary Irish artists including Sinead O’Connor, Kodaline, and more. The album is out October 1 via Universal Music Ireland/RTÉ 2FM, with proceeds benefitting Pieta House, a charity that provides free, professional one-on-one therapy to people who are in suicidal distress. Check out Pillow Queens’ take on ‘When You’re Gone’ below.

Pillow Queens released their debut album, In Waiting, last fall, and recently made their US television debut on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Check out our Artist Spotlight Q&A with Pillow Queens.
