slowthai has announced a new one-day festival called Happyland. The event will take place on September 25 at Northampton Cricket Ground in the UK and is set to feature performances from IDLES, Shygirl, beabadoobee, Greentea Peng, Ethan P Flynn, Pa Salieu, and more. Tickets go on sale from May 14 at 10 am BST (5 am ET). Check out the announcement below.
“Happyland with happy folk,” slowthai said in a statement. “The place where we can laugh and joke. The place you can be yourself without judgment, expectations and impressions of someone else. The space from the shackles of the everyday. The mountain where we climb to run away. Imagine what you’ve never had when you come to Happyland – you will never be sad.”
slowthai’s most recent album, TYRON, came out back in February.
