Cautious Clay has previewed his upcoming debut album Deadpan Love with a new single called ‘Wildfire’. Listen to it below, and check out a stripped-back performance of the track.
“‘Wildfire’ explores the fact that people’s intentions sometimes get lost in translation,” Clay said of the new song in a statement. “Good intention is not always enough to prevent people’s emotions and insecurities from spiraling. Subtle signals or cues can unintentionally ignite emotions—like a brush fire.”
Deadpan Love is set to arrive on June 25 via The Orchard. It includes the previously released singles ‘Karma & Friends’, ‘Roots’, ‘Dying In The Subtlety’, and ‘Agreeable’.
