Yaeji has joined forces with the cultural collective DiAN for a new single called ‘PAC-TIVE’. Created using samples and sound effects from the original PAC-MAN, the song is being released as part of a promotional campaign for the retro game and comes with a video directed by Aphex Twin collaborator WEiRDCORE. “PAC-MAN is a game my parents and I can both remember playing in arcades growing up,” Yaeji said in a statement. “It connects me to my previous generation and possibly to future generations too.”
Yaeji released her most recent album, What We Knew 우리가 그려왔던, last year.
