Crowded House have shared a new single called ‘Playing With Fire’. It’s taken from the band’s upcoming seventh studio album, Dreamers Are Waiting, and arrives with an accompanying video directed by Simon Mark-Brown. Check it out below.
“This song was formed out of a Crowded House jam, live in the studio but then evolved its character through many twists and turns during quarantine in 2020,” Neil Finn said in a press release. ‘Playing With Fire’ carries within it the contradiction I often feel on joyous occasions, the presence of hope together with an impending sense of doom.”
Dreamers Are Waiting is set for release on June 4 via EMI Records. Previously, Crowded House unveiled the singles ‘Whatever You Want’ and ‘To the Island’.
