Lana Del Rey has released three new songs from her upcoming album Blue Banisters: the title track, ‘Text Book’, and ‘Wildflower Wildfire’. Take a listen below.
According to Pitchfork, Del Rey co-wrote ‘Blue Banisters’ and ‘Text Book’ with Gabriel Edward Simon, who produced the former and co-produced the latter with Zachary Dawes, while ‘Wildflower Wildfire’ was co-written and produced by Kanye West collaborator Mike Dean. Notably, all three tracks were recorded without Jack Antonoff, her primary collaborator on this year’s Chemtrails Over The Country Club and 2019’s Norman Fucking Rockwell!
Del Rey’s most recent album, Chemtrails Over The Country Club, came out two months ago. A day after its release, the singer said she’d have a new album called Rock Candy Sweet arriving on June 1. She later revealed that the follow-up to Chemtrails, now set for release on July 4, would be titled Blue Banisters.
