IMOGEN Unveils Video for New Single ‘Bloodbag’

Newcastle-based songwriter IMOGEN has shared a new single, ‘Bloodbag’, which arrives today alongside an accompanying video directed by Harv Frost. Check it out below.

According to a press release, ‘Bloodbag’ is based on the artist’s experiences of surgery that meant she had to learn how to walk again. “I wanted to write something that depicted the feeling of being out of kilter with yourself – grasping for some sort of control over your own mind, body, existence,” IMOGEN explained in a statement. “I took my literal experiences and used them as imagery to explain some complicated feelings, what happened in the end was an exorcism.”
