Everything Everything have shared a new track titled ‘Mercury & Me’. It arrives today alongside an accompanying video created by the band’s Jonathan Higgs. Check it out below.
Commenting on the video, Higgs explained: “The video was made in 3D using motion capture, and was my first attempt at capturing a live performance and recreating it in software. I tried to make an atmosphere that reflected the starkness of the song.”
‘Mercury & Me’ will appear on an exclusive 10” vinyl release for Record Store Day alongside previous single ‘Supernormal’, Foals’ remix of ‘Big Climb’, and IOE AIE’s remix of ‘Black Hyena’. Everything Everything released their fifth album RE-ANIMATOR last year.
