Hypnotic Brass Ensemble and Sharon Van Etten Collaborate on ‘The Graze of Days’

    Jagjaguwar is celebrating its 25th anniversary with the Jag Quarterly series, whose latest installment is This Is a Mindfulness Drill, a full-length cover of Richard Youngs’ 2000 album Sapphie by the Hypnotic Brass Ensemble. Released yesterday, the project includes previously shared collaborations with Moses Sumney and Perfume Genius, as well as the Sharon Van Etten-featuring ‘The Graze of Days’. Listen to it below.

    The previous installment in the indie label’s Jag Quarterly series was Dilate Your Heart, a spoken-word album from poet Ross Gay set to music by Bon Iver and Mary Lattimore.​
