My Idea, the new duo comprised of Palberta‘s Lily Konigsberg and Nate Amos (Water From Your Eyes, Lorelei), have announced their signing to Hardly Art. The label will release their debut five-track EP That’s My Idea on July 30, and both the single ‘Stay Away Still’ and the title track are out today via a two-in-one music video directed by Luca Balser. “We wanted to have an energetic and chaotic video juxtaposed with something more calming and conclusive to demonstrate the eclectic yet cohesive nature of My Idea,” Konigsberg and Nate Amos wrote in a statement. “The visuals match how the songs make us feel! We both played characterizations of ourselves.”
Earlier this year, Lily Konigsberg released the compilation The Best Of Lily Konigsberg Right Now.
