CHVRCHES Share New ‘Good Girls’ Video

CHVRCHES have shared a new music video for their latest single ‘Good Girls’, which came out earlier this week. The clip is the final in a trilogy of visuals directed by Scott Kiernan, following previous entries ‘He Said She Said’ and the Robert Smith collaboration ‘How Not To Drown’. Check it out below.

“The video for ‘He Said She Said’ dealt with doubt in making of one’s own image while under the manipulation of another; while ‘How Not to Drown’ sought an exit from a low, from feeling penned in by larger power structures, and refusing to succumb to them again,” Kiernan explained in a statement. “But ‘Good Girls’ portrays a certain learned confidence in knowing who and what you are, despite what others might conform to themselves. It’s having a clear vision, or something like a compound eye that can see at all angles.”

‘Good Girls’ is taken from the Scottish trio’s forthcoming album Screen Violence, which is slated for release on Auguest 27 via EMI Records (UK) and Glassnote (US).
