Syd is back with her second solo single of the year. ‘Fast Car’ follows February’s ‘Missing Out’ and comes with a music video directed by Ethan Nelson and Graham Epstein. Check it out below.
“I wanted to make something for the gay Black girls,” the Los Angeles-based musician said of her new single in a statement. “I want them to see themselves in this and in me.”
Syd dropped her debut solo album Fin in 2017, which she followed up with the Always Never Home EP later that year.
