The War On Drugs have shared a teaser on their social media pages, including a snippet of new music. The short video shows frontman Adam Granduciel driving a truck, pulling up by a field and emerging with his guitar. As Pitchfork points out, the band also reposted an Instagram story by Atlantic Records, featuring the teaser alongside the caption: “👀👀.” Check it out below.
The War on Drugs released their most recent studio album, A Deeper Understanding, in 2017. Last fall, they issued their first live album, titled LIVE DRUGS.
