Sleater-Kinney and Wilco Cover Each Other’s Songs

Wilco and Sleater-Kinney are set to embark on their rescheduled co-headlining tour It’s Time next week, and to celebrate the occasion, the two bands have covered each other’s songs for a tour-only 7″. Sleater-Kinney have taken on Wilco’s ‘A Shot In The Arm’, while Wilco have offered their rendition of Sleater-Kinney’s ‘Modern Girl’. The 7″ single will only be available to purchase at merch tables on the upcoming tour, but you can check out a preview below.

Sleater-Kinney released their most recent album Path of Wellness in June. Wilco’s last album was 2019’s Ode to Joy.
