Strand of Oaks, the project of Tim Showalter, has released a new song called ‘Jimi & Stan’, the second offering from his forthcoming album In Heaven. The track follows ‘Galacticana’, which was our Song of the Week. Listen to it below.
Showalter said of ‘Jimi & Stan’ in a statement: “My sweetest buddy/cat Stan, sadly passed away and the only way I could describe my love for him was imagining Stan and Jimi Hendrix hanging out in heaven together, smiling and going to shows and having the best time.”
In Heaven is set for release on October 1.
