Magdalena Bay have shared a new song, ‘Secrets (Your Fire)’, alongside an accompanying video. The track is set to appear on the group’s forthcoming debut album, Mercurial World. Check it out below.
“‘Secrets’ is about interconnectivity, privacy, and digital anxiety,” Mica Tenenbaum and Matthew Lewin said in a statement. “It’s also about a need to keep sharing, to keep giving up more and more of yourself to faceless strangers in the hopes of making friends or fans.”
Mercurial World is due out October 8. It includes the previously released single ‘Chaeri’, which landed on our Best New Songs segment.
