Explosions in the Sky have released a new track, ‘Flying’, the second preview of their soundtrack to the PBS documentary Big Bend: The Wild Frontier of Texas. The track follows lead single ‘Climbing Bear’ and is paired with a music video featuring shots of a red bird flying above a desert landscape. Check it out below.
Big Bend (An Original Soundtrack for Public Television) is set for release on October 1. The band began working on the score for the nature documentary back in 2019. Their last studio album, The Wilderness, came out in 2016.
