Courtney Barnett has shared a new song called ‘Write A List of Things to Look Forward To’, the latest offering from her upcoming LP Things Take Time, Take Time. The song comes with an accompanying video directed by Christina Xing. Watch and listen below.
According to a press release, the new single is about Barnett’s friends helping her escape a “depressive funk.” “I found a deeper communication with people in my life — deeper conversations,” Barnett said in a statement. “And a new level of gratitude for friendships that had been there for so long that I had maybe taken for granted.”
Things Take Time, Take Time arrives November 12 via Mom+Pop Music/Marathon Artists. Barnett previously released the album cuts ‘Rae Street’ and ‘Before You Gotta Go’.
