Chicago-based composer and multi-instrumentalist Ben LaMar Gay has shared a video for the new single ‘Oh Great Be The Lake’, which is set to appear on his upcoming album Open Arms to Open Us. According to Gay, “the title is a suggestion of a body movement that is used in many spiritual practices and is also a movement that leads to touch or a hug.” Check it out below.
Open Arms to Open Us is due for release on November 19 via International Anthem. It includes the previously released single ‘Sometimes I Forget How Summer Looks On You’, which featured Sima Cunningham and Macie Stewart of OHMME and landed on our Best New Songs segment.
