Sunflower Bean – the New York trio of Julia Cumming, Nick Kivlen, and Jake Faber – have released a new track called ‘Baby Don’t Cry’. UMO’s Jacob Portrait produced the song, which was recorded between Electric Lady and Sunflower Bean Studios. Check it out below, alongside the band’s newly announced UK tour dates.
“So many things in our lives are disposable. Content and news is consumed and discarded leaving us unfulfilled,” the band said in a statement. “‘Baby Don’t Cry’ is about enjoying the real. The things right in front of us that give us meaning and how sometimes, even sad songs can give you that warm feeling of hope.”
Sunflower Bean released their sophomore album Twentytwo In Blue in 2018, following it up with the 2019 EP King Of The Dudes.
