Shamir Announces New Album ‘Heterosexuality’, Shares Video for New Song ‘Cisgender’

    Shamir has announced a new album, Heterosexuality, which arrives on February 11. Lead single ‘Cisgender’ is out today, alongside an accompanying video. Check it out below and scroll down for the record’s cover artwork.

    “I think this album is me finally acknowledging my trauma,” Shamir remarked in a statement. “Everyone knows I’ve been through so much shit and I kind of just rammed through, without really acknowledging the actual trauma that I do feel on almost a daily basis.”

    ‘Cisgender’ follows Shamir’s October single ‘Gay Agenda’. The new album was produced by Hollow Comet of Strange Ranger.
