Nirvana‘s Nevermind is turning 30 tomorrow, and to celebrate, Geffen/UMe have announced a deluxe reissue of the album featuring 94 audio and video tracks, 70 of which are previously unreleased. Due out starting November 12, the 30th anniversary edition of the classic LP will contain four full newly remastered live shows recorded in the months following Nevermind’s arrival: Live in Del Mar, California (December 28, 1991), Live in Melbourne, Australia for Triple J (February 1, 1991), and Live in Tokyo (February 19, 1992).
The Super Deluxe Editions will be available as an 8LP set, packaged with a bonus 7″ featuring an A-side of ‘Endless, Nameless’ and a B-side of ‘Even In His Youth’ and ‘Aneurysm’, and a 5xCD plus Blu-ray package featuring full concert video of the Live in Amsterdam, Netherlands performance. On all formats, the album itself has been remasted from the original half-inch analog tape to high-resolution 192kHz 24-bit.
