Fossil had unveiled a special collaboration with Barbie, drawing inspiration from the global icon herself. With classic motifs, charming details, and Barbie’s signature shade of pink, the collection included watches, leather goods, and jewellery that will enhance anyone’s look. The collection, launched for fans worldwide on 10th July, embodied a seamless blend of fashion and nostalgia.
Talking about the collaboration, Melissa Lowenkron, Chief Brand Officer, stated “We’re thrilled to launch this collaboration to celebrate Barbie, a global icon with a long legacy of sparking joy and imagination. Our designers were inspired by her style archives – reimagined in a fresh, modern way – and we hope our customers enjoy the combination of nostalgia and creativity.”
Among the three timepieces in the collection, the Watch Ring (£149) has a five-petal flower design reminiscent of the floral print found on all-things Barbie, while the Raquel watch (£289) features some of her most iconic icons: a crystal flower charm, a pink court shoe, a roller skate and a classic car. For even more wear options, the collection’s customisable Carlie timepiece (£259) comes with an additional interchangeable strap and extra chevron topring inspired by Barbie’s original black and white swimsuit.
