✞✞✞ (Crosses) – the duo comprised of Deftones’ Chino Moreno and producer/multi-instrumentalist Shaun Lopez – have announced their first album in nearly a decade. The follow-up to their 2014 self-titled debut is called Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete., and it features guest appearances from the Cure’s Robert Smith and Run the Jewels’ El-P. It’s due out October 13 via Warner. To mark the announcement, the band has shared a video for the new single ‘Invisible Hand’. Check it out below.
“When we started working on Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete., there was so much more light coming in my life, for numerous reasons,” Moreno said in a statement. “There’s a lot more optimism. Even the darker themes are more romanticized and not coming from a place of despair.”
Goodnight, God Bless, I Love U, Delete. will follow ✞✞✞’s 2022 EP PERMANENT.RADIANT, whose tracks were recently reimagined by electronic artists including Hudson Mohawke, suicideyear, AWAY, and Machinedrum on PERMANENT.RADIANT.REMIXED.
