A day after appearing on Charli XCX’s ‘Spring breakers’ remix, Kesha has shared a cover of Lindsey Buckingham’s ‘Holiday Road’. The track was written for the 1983 film National Lampoon’s Vacation, and Kesha has recorded her version as part of Spotify Singles’ holiday collection. Take a listen below.
Kesha’s cover is one of five songs released today for Spotify Singles’ Christmas-themed series, which also includes contributions from Max Richter, Dasha, and more. “With ‘Holiday Road,’ Kesha has taken this really fun ’80s song – which wasn’t originally a holiday song – and brought it to the modern day,” Talia Kraines, Spotify’s senior editor of pop, told Billboard.
