Shortly after its premiere, the rom-com became the #1 show in seven countries, while also breaking into the Netflix top 10 in 37 more. Seeing a royal fall in love with a commoner may never lose its charm, especially when the two have sizzling chemistry.
The Royals Season 2 Release Date
The Royals premiered in May 2025. At the time of writing, there is no official word on whether more episodes are on the way.
Netflix usually waits a bit before handing out renewals, but the show’s popularity is a good sign. In case we do get The Royals season 2, it may arrive sometime in 2026.

As sparks start to fly, though, business turns into pleasure. There’s nothing like a serious case of attraction to complicate a professional relationship. Furthermore, there are royal secrets to be uncovered and business challenges to deal with.
The first season of the series ends on a cliffhanger as startling information comes to light. The audience is left guessing whether these two are going to make it. The Royals season 2 would likely deal with the fallout from that eventful finale, while simultaneously throwing new twists into the mix.
Additionally, there’s a good chance it would expand upon the history of the fictional city of Morpur.
