The Antlers have previewed their upcoming album, Blight, with a breathtakingly delicate single called ‘Something in the Air’. It follows ‘Carnage’, one of the best songs of July. Listen below.
“‘Something in the Air’ is about a looming threat that can take many forms,” Peter Silberman said in a statement. “Precautions that would have seemed strange a decade ago have become ordinary routines – a new normal set against a backdrop of creeping dread. Meanwhile, doom lies dormant, waiting to erupt.”
Blight will be released on October 10 via Transgressive Records.
