Madi Diaz has previewed her upcoming album Fatal Optimist with a new single, ‘Heavy Metal’. “Don’t know how it doesn’t break me/ It’s a good thing my heart is so heavy metal,” she sings on the achingly vulnerable track, which follows last year’s ‘Ambivalence’. Check it out below.
“I really wanted to write a song that feels as hardcore as I am,” Diaz said in a press release. “I am emotionally heavy metal, but everything comes out soft.”
