World of Warcraft has just launched Legion Remix: Skies of Fire. It is the first content update for the time-limited seasonal event. It reimagines the iconic Legion expansion. At the same time, this adds new challenges, simplified leveling, and many rewards. It also offers a wild, fast-paced, fun experience for all players.
Legion Remix: Features and Story
According to Blizzard Entertainment, Legion Remix lets players replay the Legion expansion with a twist. Specifically, fans can make a Timerunner character from one of the 12 original classes. This time around, they can level faster from 10 to 80.
In the same way, every feature in the original Legion content is present. These include all dungeons, five raids, and Artifact quests. Players can also find Class Order Hall campaigns, Invasion Points, and many more.
As for the story, Remix picks up on Mists of Pandaria. It follows Eternus — a dragon from the infinite dragonflight. Now, she is trying to dig into the past. With the heated Worldsoul Saga, Eternus wants to know what caused the current events. More clearly, she needs to understand what saved Azeroth from the Legion.
New Gameplay and Rewards
Based on the official announcement, Skies of Fire has new gameplay systems. All of these additions enhance strategy and customization:
- Remixed Artifact Weapons
- Heroic World Tier
- Timewarped Obelisks
- Timeworn Keystone Dungeons
- Infinite Research
Similarly, Legion Remix delivers a variety of rewards. Players can earn different cosmetics and new player titles. At the same time, the update brings five new character slots. Plus, there is a character conversion feature.
Availability and Accessibility
World of Warcraft Legion Remix: Skies of Fire is now live in the game.
What makes things sweeter is that players can access the new content without buying an expansion. All it requires is a World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time. On top of that, trial accounts will also be able to experience the adventure through the Broken Isles. But level 20 is the highest status free players can get to. They will need to get a subscription to continue beyond the level.
Looking Ahead
Fans of the popular massively multiplayer online RPG can expect new Legion content every two weeks. Particularly, each drop adds fresh offerings. In particular, players will soon find the following content:
- Rise of the Nightfallen – October 21
- Legionfall – November 4
- Argus Eternal – November 18
- Infinite Echoes – December 9
With all that is coming to the game, World of Warcraft is likely to end the year strong.
